2023년 5월 9일, 국제협력융합바이오연구소는 미국 델라웨어 대학교의 Eric Furst 교수를 초청하여 국제협력공동연구세미나를 개최하였다.
University of Delaware의 Distinguished Chair이자 American Institute of Physics의 Board of Directors로 활동하고 있는 Eric Furst 교수는 tweezer 분야의 석학으로, 이날 세미나는 “Building, bending, and breaking colloidal microstructures with optical tweezers”라는 주제로 진행되었다.
30여명의 화학공학과 연구원들이 참석한 가운데 진행된 이 날 세미나에서는 강연 주제에 대한 심도깊은 질문과 함께 연사의 적극적인 피드백과 토론으로 다채롭게 채워졌다.
국제협력융합바이오연구소는 향후 Eric Furst 교수와 활발한 교류를 통한 공동연구의 가능성을 모색해갈 계획이다.
Precision Biology Research Center(PBRC) hosted an International Joint Research Seminar on May 9, 2023, with distinguished scholar Professor Eric Furst from the University of Delaware, USA, as the keynote speaker. Professor Furst, who holds the Distinguished Chair at the University of Delaware and serves on the Board of Directors at the American Institute of Physics, is a renowned expert in the field of tweezer.
Around 30 researchers from the Department of Chemical Engineering attended the seminar, which featured an engaging lecture, in-depth discussions, and active feedback from the attendees.
PBRC is looking forward to further collaboration and joint research with Professor Eric Furst through ongoing exchanges and interactions.
